If I had any doubt that the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen is a crook, this story confirms and reinforces my opinion of her.

The President of the European Commission handpicked German MEP Markus Piper, who comes from the same CDU party, and appointed him as special adviser for small and medium-sized enterprises.

Apparently, our EU’s chief diplomat, Josep Borrell wrote to the President to complain about the appointment, questioning the transparency of the nomination process. Pieper will be receiving a salary of €17,000.

My question is to the President of the EU Parliament. Will you hold them to account, please?

Next time, that the EU Commission proposes or recommends to the Maltese government to reduce subsidies on fuel prices, and electricity bills please remind yourselves about this deal.

Well, the signs were clear at the outset. Someone who turned a laundry room into a bedroom upon being appointed President of the EU Commission, and sleeps in the Berlaymont building, is just not a normal person.
